i started hosting tournaments on ps during the summer of 2013, and continued on and off through 2018. after a brief hiatus i have made my return in 2024. the tournaments room has changed a lot since i started, and i've now decided to host my tournaments privately, invitation only, on smogtours, challonge and twitch.

no cheating. don't exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage. don't game the system (by intentionally losing against a friend, by ghosting, impersonating other players in the tour through false usernames, etc). don't impersonate staff if you're not. cheating in the bracket on challonge.com results in immediate disqualification.

if a participant in the tournament is offline or away from his/her computer for more than 30 minutes past their expected match start time, they are subject to disqualification.
